Course Objectives
This course provides a comprehensive understanding of potential cybersecurity risks, including internet frauds and scams. Participants will learn to identify various cyber threats such as phishing, identity theft, viruses, and hacking through detailed analysis and real-world case studies.
Learners will gain practical skills to assess and protect personal and business information from these threats. The course covers best practices for managing cyber threats, including escalation and communication protocols to engage with authorities and relevant teams effectively. By the end of the course, participants will be equipped to recognize, safeguard against, and respond to cybersecurity threats efficiently.

Topic 1: Identifying Cyber Fraud and Scams
Analysis of a recent phishing scam campaign
Identifying cyber fraud and scams – phishing, identity theft, viruses, hacking
Real-world case studies
Topic 2: Assessing and Protecting Cyber Frauds and Scams
Educating on scam and fraud recognition
Safeguarding against online and phone scams
Real-world case studies
Topic 3: Responding to Cyber Security Threats
Best practices to engage with authorities and relevant teams
Escalation and communication protocols
Entry Requirement
Able to operate using computer functions
Speak, listen and read English at a proficiency level not lower than the WPL Level 3
Attitude: a sense of responsibility to protect business information and personal information
Target Age group: 25 and above
Minimum 1 year of working experience
