Step 1: Understand the Entry Requirements
Before submitting your application, please ensure you meet the entry requirements for your chosen course. These requirements are clearly outlined on:
• The individual course pages on our website
• Our official course brochures on our website
During your pre-course counselling, our Course Counsellors or authorised agents will explain these requirements and guide you through the application process.
Step 2: Prepare and Submit Your Application
To apply, you will need to complete the Student Application Form and prepare the following supporting documents:
• Academic certificates and transcripts
• Identification documents
– Passport (International Students)
– Passport/NRIC (Local Students)
• Any other relevant documentation

Once received, a Course Counsellor will contact you to verify the submitted details, request any missing documents if necessary, and schedule your pre-course counselling session.
Step 3: Application Review and Assessment
All applications are carefully reviewed by our Admissions team. If you meet the entry and English proficiency requirements, your application will proceed to the next stage.
For applicants who may not fully meet the requirements, the case will be reviewed by the Principal or Vice Principal to assess if the applicant can still benefit from the course.
If applicable, you may be asked to sit for the GCS English Proficiency Test to demonstrate your language ability, as all courses are taught in English.
Step 4: Application Fee Payment
Once your application is conditionally accepted, you will be required to pay a non-refundable Application Fee. Payment can be made via:
• Bank Transfer
• Cash
• Cheque
Details will be provided by our Admissions Office upon confirmation.
Step 5: Receive Your Offer Letter
If your application is approved, you will receive a Letter of Offer, officially confirming your admission into the course. This letter will be signed by the Principal or Vice Principal. To accept the letter of offer, please sign and return the letter of offer.
If the application is unsuccessful, you will be notified via email or WhatsApp with the reason for the outcome.
For international applicants, GCS will proceed to submit your Student’s Pass application to the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA).
Step 6: Complete Your Enrolment
Once your student pass application is approved, you will receive a copy of an In-Principle Approval Letter (IPA) issued by ICA.
You will be guided through the final steps to complete your admission:
• Sign the Student Contract
• 10 calendar days cooling-off period (as per CPE requirements)
• Pay the Course Fees
• Purchase Fee Protection Scheme (FPS) insurance, if applicable
• Receive ongoing updates regarding your Student’s Pass (for international students)
Step 7: Attend Student Orientation
All newly enrolled students are required to attend an Orientation Programme on their first day.
If you are unable to attend the Orientation in person, we will make alternative arrangements. Orientation materials and the Student Handbook are also available online for your convenience.
