The average Teacher-Student ratio of Genetic Computer School is 1:25.

This ratio will ensure that the learning experience of each student would be at its optimum level. This is to maintain a high-quality standard for the student’s education.
Minimum Academic Standard

The passing percentage for each module is greater than or equal to 50

To be awarded with CIT, Diploma Higher Diploma, Specialist Certificate and Specialist Diploma, students must pass all the modules.
Award’s Criteria
The students must comply with the following award’s criteria:

Minimum 75% attendance for local students

Minimum 90% attendance for international students

Must pass all the examinations and assessments of all modules of the course
Instructional Methods
| 1. Lecture – A prepared oral presentation on a given topic. The content covered is not too lengthy and is combined with other presentation and application methods. |
| 2. Case study – Students, either individually or in groups, are to analyze a case – a written account of a situation, and present findings and/or recommendations. |
| 3. Project – Individual, open-book, formative assessment; a collection of students’ works that are associated with the learning outcomes. This collection of work is gathered over the period of the module |
| 4. Independent Study – Students are given an hour in a week to do an independent study where they research, gather information, use their notes, etc. without supervision by the lecturer |
| 5. Written Activities/Lab Activities – Students are given in-class activities or laboratory activities to assess the knowledge and abilities acquired in class and/or the objective of the current class session. |

All current active courses are taught in a face-to-face or through classroom facilitation and Blended Learning (Asynchronous) delivery method is used.

If there is a need for online learning (E.g., asynchronous and/or synchronous), students will be notified verbally and/or through e-mail by the Manager of Admin and/or assigned lecturers. This will be decided by the TLC and/or Board of Academics.
Language of Instructions
All classes and assessments are conducted in English.

When can I get my registration card?
You can get your registration card on the first day of class. It will be given to you by the Student Admin Executive/Appointed Admin staff.
When can I receive my end of module results?
End of module results are released within 2 months from the last date of examination.
How many times can I Resit for a failed module examination?
The maximum number of Resit for failed end-of-module examinations is two (2). Otherwise the student is advised to retake the module.
When can I receive my course schedules and class timetables?
You will receive your course schedules and class timetables the day you sign your student contract for both STP and non-STP. Alternatively, you can view it in the given link Class Schedules and/or in the Learning Management System (LMS).
