Target Audience

Anyone who has to create dynamic web pages in a visual development environment, using point-and-click methods.


Need to possess the knowledge of Basic PC


Successful trainees will receive the internationally recognized ICDL Certificate upon completion of the course. This certificate is administered by ICDL Singapore. This is a joint certification between SSG and ICDL Singapore. Student must take a 1 hour assessment at the end of the course.

Mode of Training



This module enables the candidate to understand key web publishing concepts and to create, upload and maintain a web site.

The candidate shall be able to :

  • Understand key web concepts and terms
  • Know about the basic principles of HTML and use common HTML mark-up tags to modify the layput of a web page
  • Use a web authoring application to design and format web pages, format text and work with hyperlinks and tables
  • Recognise and use common web image formats and create forms in a web page 
  • Understand and use cascading style sheets
  • Prepare web pages for publishing to a web server.
